My Aunt Sadie wasn't from the cookers. She'd plop plates down and say, "Use your imagination." We ate a lot of bagels. Aunt Sadie had a closet the size of Yankee Stadium filled with millinery marvels. When I was little, I stacked hats on my head while doing the hokey-pokey. Decked in baseball caps, plumed bonnets and ski masks, I became Mickey Mantle, Mae West and Spiderman. Once I pulled a mouse out of her sombrero. "Don't ask," I warned. She didn't.
